When you hire me, you’re not just paying for tasks — you’re investing in real value. You’re not just ticking off a to-do list. You’re trusting someone to get your business, your voice, your market, your standards — and to deliver something that doesn’t feel like it was churned out in a factory of faceless freelancers.
That trust matters.
That’s exactly why I don’t outsource our core work overseas.
I thought I’d write about this because I’ve seen a lot of people asking in small business forums “Can you recommend xyz person from the Phillipines” when just as easily that same work could be done here. I pride myself on giving added value and I get totally invested with the businesses I work with.
It’s Not About Nationalism
Let’s get this out of the way. This isn’t an anti-overseas rant. There are incredibly talented, hardworking creatives and strategists all over the world — some of whom I’ve learned a lot from. However, when it comes to my business and your brand, I’m not in the business of passing the work off to someone you didn’t choose. I’ve had clients hire me from the U.S. to India and price had nothing to do with their decision as to why they chose me.
You Hired Me for a Reason
I built this business to offer small and solo business owners real strategy, sharp content, and honest branding. People want real value not copy-paste solutions. You’re paying for brains, not bandwidth. If I turn around and outsource your work to someone else without telling you, I’m basically saying your trust is for sale.
It’s not.
Consistency and Quality Are Non-Negotiable
Outsourcing can save time. It can even save money. But it almost always costs quality, clarity, or control. I’m not here to deliver ‘good enough’. I’m here to deliver work that sounds like you, speaks to your audience, and actually makes sense for your business.
You know what doesn’t do that? A $5 logo, a 300-word AI blog post, or a batch of “meh” social media content sent off to someone with zero context about who you are or what you care about.
I Work With a Small, Local, Trusted Crew
Do I do everything myself? Not normally I’ve got a tight-knit crew I trust — locals I’ve worked with, briefed properly, and who understand our standards. They’re not strangers from a marketplace. When we collaborate, I’m still responsible for the outcome. If something needs changing, you talk to me — not a ghost email address or a generic account manager. At the moment though as I’ve pared back a few things-it is just me!!!!!
I’m Building Relationships, and Value.
You can get a logo, a post, videos, a caption, or social media content anywhere. If you’ve come to me, you’re probably looking for more than that. You want someone who listens, who asks the right questions, and who helps you build something that actually feels like your business — not like it was outsourced through a game of broken telephone.
That’s why I don’t send your work to someone else behind the scenes. You trusted me. I’m keeping that trust.
And if I ever do suggest bringing someone else in to support a project — like a specialist SEO — you’ll know exactly who they are and why. You’ll always have the choice and the clarity.

A quick word about cost
It’s easy to assume that going overseas will be cheaper—but that’s not always the case, especially once you factor in time zones, communication hiccups, revisions, and hidden costs. What looks cheap upfront can end up costing you more in delays, rework, or stress. If you’ve got a budget in mind, just get in touch. I can tell you honestly what’s doable, what’s not, and where your money will go the furthest. No fluff, no upsell—just a proper plan with value that works for your business and your wallet.
You didn’t hire me to manage a group chat full of freelancers.
You hired me to think, create, and deliver.
So that’s what I do.
